Heron Hatchery
The Sterling Nature Center in Sterling, NY has a Blue Heron Hatchery. I spent a spring afternoon watching the herons build their nests on the trees and tree stands. The overview of the Hatchery (or Rookery) in a marsh setting with tall bare trees looks like what you would expect in a Dr. Seuss book.
