Is there Gold in the water?
The first thing I saw when I looked at this leaf was that it looked like there is a piece of gold in the center of the leave. Even after looking at it on the computer and seeing it as just a water droplet that is colored by the red brown leaf below it I still like to think I found a piece of gold on a walk through Tinker Nature Park in Rochester, NY on a summer day. What makes the leaf stand out is that it is floating in a sea of the of Duckweed (Lemna minor) leaves with the sun lighting it up.
